Dr. Charles Crowl's journey into dentistry was influenced by his own experiences as a child requiring extensive dental work, which initially made him apprehensive about dental visits. Everything changed when, at the age of 13, he was referred by his orthodontist to a dentist for the removal of two teeth. This dentist’s gentle approach and clear communication transformed Dr. Crowl’s perception of dental care, showing him that it didn’t have to be painful. This pivotal moment inspired him to become the kind of dentist who could change patients’ attitudes toward their own dental experiences.

To achieve this, Dr. Crowl fosters a warm and inviting environment in his practice, encouraging patients to feel empowered and confident about their smiles. He treats each individual with care and attention, ensuring they are recognized as more than just a number. His focus is on helping people regain their confidence through the latest advancements in dental technology.

Dr. Crowl attended Michigan State University before entering an early enrollment program at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry. After practicing in the Chicago area for 30 years, he relocated to Louisville in 2017 to be closer to family. Since earning his degree, he has pursued further education in cosmetic dentistry, dental implant surgery, and orthodontics.

Volunteering and travel are also significant passions for Dr. Crowl. He enjoys exploring both locally and internationally, often seeking opportunities to combine his love for travel with dentistry through dental mission trips. He is dedicated to demonstrating to patients, near and far, that dentistry can be a compassionate and caring experience. Dr. Crowl is committed to always prioritizing the best interests of his patients.
