About Dr. Mendes
Dr. Kevin Mendes is a family dentist and orthodontist with Manassas Dental Center. He is highly trained and has received numerous distinctions and awards throughout his education and professional career. His goal each day is to help his patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles that they can feel confident about. Dr. Mendes graduated top of his class in 1991 from Case Western Reserve University with his dental degree. He then attended the University of Toronto where he completed his orthodontic education. At Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Mendes received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ therapy, implants, and oral surgery during a general practice residency program. At Manassas Dental Center, he works alongside other highly skilled dentists to treat patients with advanced and modern dental procedures.

Teeth are important for being in the public eye and eating, which are two of my favorite activities. I don't mind coming to the dentist since I have never been traumatized unlike others I know with opposite experiences. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Mendes for about 3 years. I love that they do have that boutique style dental office in Manassas, VA, and the atmosphere which Dr. Mendes provides. It's nice having the dentist and staff know you on a more personal level as opposed to ‘ are you eleven o'clock?”. The front desk is great very friendly and all smiles. I always laugh at the end of my cleanings because they will ask when do I have time to schedule my next cleaning. Usually, I will never schedule an appointment that far in advance when I am due for my cleaning I call and they have been able to fit me in there schedule every time. I am not the best at being compliant and I know you should brush and floss twice a day ideally I don't always. But the hygienist does a great job at keeping my teeth clean and the goodie bags at the end of my visit are a very nice touch. Thank you for keeping my teeth healthy and clean!!!! I will try my best to floss more.
I was out to lunch with some friends of mine when I had a dental emergency happen to me. My on my front tooth came off. Mind you I do not have dental insurance in Manassas, so I was completely devastated. I ended up searching online for affordable dental plans and found Dr. Mendes partnered with Doctors Network. I was able to get an appointment the same day and have my crown re-cemented. Everyone was very coordinated in Dr. Mendes's dental office. I made my whole procedure run very smoothly. My main concern was to fix my crown but the receptionist did a great job explaining to me how the plan works and how actually it is to my benefit to use is long term. You should not go to the dentist only when an emergency happens. You should keep following up and create a routine to maintain good oral care as explained to me by Dr. Mendes.
I have no complaints. The team is professional and laid back. One of the few dentist offices in Manassas, VA where I look forward to my next visit.
