Dr. Erick Gutierrez, affectionately known as Dr. G, is a highly skilled dentist with a passion for transforming smiles and making dental visits an enjoyable experience for all of his patients. Originally from Southern California, Dr. G pursued his studies at UCLA, where he majored in biochemistry before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating, Dr. G expanded his knowledge and expertise through a residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, one of the top dental programs in the country. He quickly stood out as a leader and earned an award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry, which helped to shape his approach to patient care.

Dr. G then returned to California, where he focuses on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, advanced restorative treatments, and dental implants. With his advanced training and love for technology, Dr. G uses minimally-invasive techniques that deliver long-lasting results while ensuring his patients’ comfort. He is renowned for his friendly, approachable manner and painless techniques, especially his gentle injections that help eliminate any fear of dental procedures.

In addition to his thriving practice, Dr. G serves as an instructor at the LA Institute of Clinical Dentistry, where he trains fellow dentists in the latest esthetic dental techniques. His dedication to learning is evident, having completed over 2,000 hours of post-graduate education, including specialized training in esthetic dentistry, implantology, and orthodontics. This dedication to professional development ensures that Dr. G stays at the forefront of advancements in the dental field.

Dr. G is honored to hold the distinction of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a title earned by only a small percentage of dentists who demonstrate exceptional skill and a commitment to continuing education. Additionally, he has shared his expertise on television and radio, educating the public about oral health and the latest trends in cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. G enjoys volunteering with nonprofit organizations that serve underserved communities, including Give Kids a Smile events and mentoring aspiring dental professionals. He is also a family man who loves spending time with his young son, Michael, in the sunny and active community of Manhattan Beach. When he’s not working, you’ll find Dr. G enjoying outdoor activities, playing sports, or relaxing with his family.
