I had the best experience when visiting Dr. Mangiaracina. After scheduling my appointment over the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Everyone there is amazing. I recently had gone to another dentist and had a horrible experience, so I was really nervous about getting any dental work done. Dr. Mangiaracina is much completely different. I don’t want to get my dental care anywhere else in Merrick. I’ll be back.

My wisdom tooth cracked late one night, but by 7:30 the next morning, I was in Dr. Mangiaracina’s office receiving treatment. I had reached out to them as soon as my tooth cracked and they promptly followed-up as soon as the got to the office. Dr. Mangiaracina is extremely skilled and meticulous. I normally experience some pain when the novocaine wears off, but this time, I didn’t even need to take a pain reliever. It was truly the best dental work I’ve experienced. Everything from the novocaine injection to the casting of the crown was done expertly.

There are many other things I’d rather do with my time than go to the dentist. However, after visiting Dr. Mangiaracina, I don’t actually mind going to the dentist anymore. The receptionist was so sweet and did a great job making sure everything was accurate with my insurance. The hygienist made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process of cleaning my teeth. Dr. Mangiaracina is friendly too. I’ve found my new favorite dentist in Merrick, NY. I’ll be recommending her to friends and family as well.

My husband and I started going to Dr. Mangiaracina after moving to Merrick, NY from another state. Initially, we chose this practice because they were PPO with our dental plan. We’ve had incredible service since our first appointment. The service has been great. Appointments are on time and never canceled. They’re ready for you as soon as you come in, even if you’re the first appointment of the day. The receptionist and hygienists provide wonderful service as well. I met Dr. Mangiaracina after being referred to a friend after another dentist told me I needed a bunch of procedures done. Dr. Mangiaracina confirmed I needed a filling but told me the rest of the procedures were excessive. She was very understanding. My dental plan even knew that this was a great dental office. However, the staff here helped me remains calm and relax. They let me bring a headset so that I could listen to audiobooks or music during the procedures. This dental office is beyond any other dentistry I’ve ever been to. It feels like a spa because they give you a massage chair and a TV to watch while you’re getting a cleaning or procedure done. I felt I had to give Dr. Mangiaracina office a review after my third time being there. The receptionist was amazing. She sent me the paperwork ahead of time and even sent out text, email, and phone call reminders so we wouldn’t forget our appointment. She even helped me figure out my insurance because they kept giving me confusing answers. She’s the best. The office is very clean and makes you feel at home. My 13-year-old daughter had a cleaning and the hygienist took the time to walk through everything they were going to do with her. Dr. Mangiaracina truly cares about her patients, she's very easy to talk to. I loved how honest she was. My daughter had a permanent tooth that wanted to come through but she hadn’t lost her baby tooth yet. Instead of pulling it and freaking my daughter out, Dr. Mangiaracina just told her to wiggle it. She also had a cavity that wasn’t bugging her at all, and when we looked at the x-rays the permanent tooth was about to come through anyway. She told us to wait. We have been charged for tooth pulling and cavity fillings in the past, so it was nice to just get advice and no charge. My daughter was worried she would need braces but Dr. Mangiaracina told her she hadn’t lost the right baby teeth yet for him to tell. The only reason they don’t get a 5-star rating isn’t even really their fault. My insurance doesn’t have a contract with them, which just means I had to pay a lot more out of pocket. If I had known this before I wouldn’t have gone there, but now I love them too much and won’t be switching.

I REALLY hate going to the dentist. I mean really truly hate it. But one Friday night I was in so much pain that I had to go. I needed a crown and a root canal. I found this place on Doctors Network, and they were luckily open on Saturdays and able to see me the next morning. The staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs, they were friendly and professional. The wait wasn’t long at all. Dr. Mangiaracina was great; she explained exactly what she was going to do, and when I told her about my dislike of the dentist and pain she was willing to go through options with me. I opted for the happy gas, and by the time they started drilling, I couldn’t care less about it. They were very attentive, asking me if any discomfort. They seemed to truly care about my well-being. I came back about a week later and the crown was completed by Dr. Mangiaracina and an assistant. My crown is working out great. In summary, these people are great, they provided me pain-free service and did with a smile. For that reason, I will be back.
