Dr. Markos Botros, originally from New Jersey, embarked on his academic journey at the Albert Dorman Honors College of NJIT/Rutgers University, where he earned his degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 2002. After graduation, he joined a pharmaceutical company as a chemist in their quality control lab. While he valued the scientific rigor of the role, Dr. Botros soon realized that he wanted a career that involved more direct interaction with people. Encouraged by a close family friend who was a dentist, he decided to volunteer as a dental assistant, and it was in that role that he discovered his passion for dentistry.

In 2004, Dr. Botros pursued his dental education at New York University College of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental schools in the country. After earning his dental degree, he went on to complete an intensive general practice residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in 2009, which provided him with valuable hospital-based experience. Dr. Botros is a proud member of both the American Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society, continually advancing his knowledge and skills to provide the best care possible for his patients.
