At our state-of-the-art office, Harlem Dental Care, the New York dental practice of Dr. Nazar Shcheglov, DDS, we are dedicated to providing the finest dental care to our patients. Dr. Shcheglov received his DDS degree in 2005 from the State University of New York School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY. He has been practicing dentistry in the same location in Harlem for over ten years. Dr. Shcheglov believes that dental care should be affordable so that everyone can benefit from excellent care resulting in healthy and beautiful smiles. He is known for his gentle touch and great chairside manner.

I’ve been an employee of Dr. Shcheglov’s office in Manhattan NY for over a decade now, and for the past 2 years, I’ve worked remotely from home as my husband and I got married. I may be biased, but I’ve worked with 5 other Periodontists and 2 oral surgeons, so I feel like I have a good idea of what both good and bad dental care looks like. Dr. Shcheglov has done amazing work on my daughter’s teeth. She got into a bicycle accident when she was 8 that really messed up her teeth, but Dr. Shcheglov did an awesome job in fixing her up, something that a lot of dentists didn’t want to touch. The bone grafting and implants he did turn out great. My daughter loves her smile now.
This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.
I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Patients who sign up for a direct dental plan through our office in New York can attend routine preventive exams and cleanings for only $25 per visit. This includes X-rays, when necessary, and the cost does not change no matter how many times you visit per year. When cosmetic or restorative treatment is required, the costs of your treatment will be discounted by up to 90%, including fillings, dental crowns, dental implants, Invisalign® and more.
