Dr. Jai Shin and his team at True Dental are dedicated to providing patients with top-quality, compassionate, and detail-oriented dental care. They recognize that each patient has unique dental goals and needs and deserves to be treated as such. Each patient is given their full attention and a careful, honest diagnosis, as well as a personalized treatment plan that will ensure a beautiful, healthy smile.

To provide his patients with the most current dental techniques and technologies, Dr. Shin frequently attends continuing education courses and advanced training in numerous areas of dentistry. He has completed training in implant placement, restorations, periodontal therapies, crown lengthening surgery, and more, and is proud to always be adding to the list of procedures he can offer his patients.

Dr. Shin graduated from Swarthmore College before earning his master’s degree in genetics from the University of California at Berkeley. He attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before completing a general practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in PA where he received an advanced education in prosthodontics and oral surgery. Since then, Dr. Shin has been a practicing dentist in the Mid-Maryland area. When he is not working with his patients at the office, Dr. Shin is volunteering his dental services to those in need through the Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy.
