Dr. Andrew Lazaris is not only a dentist but an innovator. He designed his practice with his patients’ comfort in mind, often thinking about what he would want from his dentist if the roles were reversed. He was one of the first dentists to put TVs in the office, angled so patients could watch their favorite shows while fully reclined. He was also one of the leading dentists in teeth whitening, helping to popularize the procedure throughout the country. Patients of Dr. Lazaris can feel confident that their dental anxieties will be taken care of, and their health will be treated in a compassionate, professional manner.

Dr. Lazaris is passionate about all areas of dentistry and is proud to be able to offer his patients an extremely wide variety of treatments. He is a general practitioner, cosmetic dentist, radiologist, emergency doctor, and surgeon at the same time. Having so many areas of expertise keeps Dr. Lazaris very occupied, and very excited to go to the office each day.

Dr. Lazaris completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas. He earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. To complete his dental training, he attended the Children’s and VA Hospital of Oklahoma to complete a 2-year general practice residency program. In 1999, he opened his practice, Texas Dental. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Lazaris has done exceptional work, winning him numerous awards. He is the recipient of the Angie’s List General & Cosmetic Dentistry Super Service Award and Dental Economics Magazine’s America’s Coolest Dental Office Award. He has won Texas Monthly’s Super Dentist vote more than 10 times, earning him a place in their Hall of Fame. He was also the Dallas Academy of General Dentistry’s 2013 Dentist of the Year Nominee.

To keep himself well-informed about the latest dental techniques and technologies, Dr. Lazaris is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American College of Dentistry. He has also held leadership roles in the North Texas Dental Society, the Dallas Academy of General Dentistry, and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
