Dr. Jennifer Friedman hails from Saginaw, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2007. While in dental school, she chose to serve in the United States Air Force and was selected for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. During this intensive year-long program, she trained under specialists across various dental fields.

In 2008, Dr. Friedman was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, where she further honed her skills in multiple aspects of dentistry. She played a key role in helping the clinic achieve an outstanding rating from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), notably being handpicked by the Dental Flight Commander to demonstrate her proficiency in IV sedation and impacted wisdom tooth extractions.

Dr. Friedman is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and The Black Hills District Dental Society. Committed to continuous learning, she has completed the Synergy Training Program for Implant Dentistry through Biomet 3i, attended four Spear Seminars, participates in the local Spear Study Club, and is currently pursuing the Kois Center Curriculum.

Dr. Friedman and her husband, Josh, have fallen in love with Rapid City, SD, and have chosen to make it their home. They enjoy outdoor activities with their English Springer Spaniel, Lucy, and partake in hiking and camping. In her free time, Dr. Friedman loves swimming, baking, and biking. Together, she and Josh are parents to three children:Levi, Logan and Lucas.
