Dr. James Eon Shelton finds every aspect of dentistry rewarding. From welcoming his patients into his office with a smile to seeing them leave feeling more confident in smiles of their own is Dr. Shelton’s greatest professional achievement. He enjoys creating strong, trusting relationships with his patients as he helps them achieve their oral health goals. No matter what procedure he is conducting, Dr. Shelton strives to give his patients a comprehensive, minimally invasive, and pain-free visit to the dentist.

Dr. Shelton understands that being a community dentist is a big responsibility, which is why he works hard every day to make sure he provides his patients with only the highest quality care. Dr. Shelton attends oral health conferences and continuing education courses, seminars, and lectures. These keep him up to date on the latest dental techniques, treatment processes, care options, and dental technologies which he can then incorporate into his practice. Post-doctorate training has also made Dr. Shelton familiar with the connections between oral and full-body health, which he keeps in mind when treating patients. He has received extensive advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and CEREC single-visit crowns.

Dr. Shelton earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University where he graduated with honors and clinical excellence awards. He has been a practicing dentist in Oregon ever since.
