Dr. Stella Kim is a proud graduate of the UCSF School of Dentistry and has been serving patients in San Francisco and the Bay Area since she began her dental career. Prior to entering the field of dentistry, she spent over ten years as a biomedical researcher in Los Angeles and San Diego, focusing on drug discovery and translational medicine. However, her desire to make a direct impact on people’s lives led her to transition to dentistry.

Dr. Kim actively participates in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the San Francisco Dental Society (SFDS), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA).

As an Invisalign preferred provider, she is committed to offering the latest orthodontic options to her patients. Additionally, she holds an implantology certification from Hiossen’s Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Institute (AIC) and was one of the first dentists in San Francisco to be certified in the innovative Chao Pinhole® surgical technique, a minimally invasive method for treating receding gums that significantly reduces discomfort.

Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Kim enjoys hosting dinner parties with her husband, where they prepare organic meals from scratch. She is also passionate about music, often singing and playing various instruments, and she loves attending live performances.
