Dr. Matthew Carmody, a Seattle native, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his dental practice. He earned his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at Washington State University. During his education, Dr. Carmody developed a particular interest in helping patients manage dental anxiety, gaining valuable experience at the Dental Fears Clinic in Seattle. His passion for patient care further expanded at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, where he specialized in providing oral health support for cancer patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.

After completing his advanced training, Dr. Carmody worked at a rural community health center, where he honed his skills in both orthodontics (braces) and endodontics (root canals), providing comprehensive care to underserved communities.

Today, Dr. Carmody focuses on complex dental procedures, with a particular interest in treating patients under IV sedation and performing wisdom tooth extractions. He is fluent in Spanish, which allows him to provide clear, compassionate care to the diverse Central Coast community he serves.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Carmody enjoys a variety of hobbies, including fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Jani, and their two rescue dogs, Bob and Mabel. His commitment to both his family and his community underscores his dedication to creating lasting relationships with those he serves.
