Dr. Richard Robinson is a dedicated and experienced dentist serving the Santa Cruz community since 1991. Raised in Santa Cruz and a graduate of Harbor High School, Dr. Robinson went on to earn a B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA and later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California (USC).

Since joining the Santa Cruz Dental Group, Dr. Robinson has built a reputation for offering comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. His services include preventive and restorative treatments, such as ceramic crowns, cosmetic whitening, veneers (including Lumineers), and Invisalign teeth straightening.

As a committed professional, Dr. Robinson is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Monterey Bay Dental Society, the Academy of Sports Dentistry, and International Health Emissaries. He also serves as a consultant for Delta Dental.

Beyond his local practice, Dr. Robinson has generously volunteered his time and expertise to underprivileged communities around the world. He has provided free dental care in countries such as Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Belize, Cambodia, and El Salvador. Domestically, he has also contributed to organizations like CDA Cares and Dientes, where he previously served on the board.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Robinson is an avid runner, cyclist, and hiker. He enjoys playing both the saxophone and clarinet and has been actively involved in the Santa Cruz Track Club, Santa Cruz Triathlon Association, Santa Cruz Jazz Society, Boy Scouts of America, and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Robinson is passionate about combining his expertise with a deep sense of community service, both locally and globally, to improve the oral health and well-being of others.
