A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Shahbazi earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Arizona State University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH). Her passion for health care led her to pursue a dual-degree program, completing a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) alongside her dental training. Throughout her education, she became deeply aware of the health challenges faced by underserved communities, which shaped her approach to holistic care.

It was during dental school that Dr. Shahbazi discovered the powerful connection between oral health and overall physical and emotional health, sparking her commitment to a holistic, whole-body approach to dentistry. To further develop her skills in this area, she completed post-graduate training through prestigious organizations such as the Holistic Dental Association (HDA), the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM), and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).

In addition to her expertise in holistic dentistry, Dr. Shahbazi is skilled in cosmetic procedures and has helped transform thousands of smiles. Her advanced training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and her use of cutting-edge techniques enable her to perform comprehensive smile makeovers that not only enhance appearance but also boost confidence and quality of life.

Dr. Shahbazi’s primary goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where her patients feel truly cared for. She believes in building lasting relationships and treats every patient as part of her extended family. Outside of her practice, Dr. Shahbazi enjoys an active lifestyle and has a deep love for travel, having visited all seven continents. She shares her life with her husband, whom she met while dancing, and their dog, Daisy. Dr. Shahbazi is also a volunteer foster parent with the Arizona Humane Society, offering temporary homes for animals in need. When she’s not traveling or volunteering, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and scuba diving, all while staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
