Dr. Vatsal Suthar has extensive training in numerous areas of healthcare, but chose to specialize in dentistry after earning his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Business from the University of South Carolina in 2006. He worked as an exercise physiologist for two years before attending the Medical University of South Carolina where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2012. After graduating, he attended a year-long training program at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

As a strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Suthar has completed many hours of post-graduate education. He also volunteers his spare time to the Richland County Children’s Dental Clinic. Today he has achieved and maintained Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. Less than 5% of dentists have accomplished this.
