Dr. Richard J-P Bastien earned his dental degree in 2006 in Canada from McGill University, which by many is considered the “Harvard of Canada”. He then completed a residency program at the V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, and moved to Tallahassee. Dr. Bastien is trained and experienced in treating adults and children in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Bastien has continued his education by attending numerous post-graduate courses in dental implants, cosmetics, and oral pathology.

Dr. Bastien is a professional member of multiple local, state, and national dental associations including The Florida Dental Association (FDA) and The American Dental Association (ADA), as well as the Leon County Dental Association Board. He was also the Chairman of the TCC Dental Hygiene Advisory Board in Tallahassee.

Dr. Bastien volunteers his time to work with the Children’s Medical Services of the Florida Department of Health and the WeCare Dental Network to serve the community. Dr. Bastien is compassionate, caring, and patient. He values the relationship he shares with every individual patient. He is also fluent in Creole and French.
