Education & Career

Dr. Daryn Nishikawa earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC). Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), at the Ronald Reagan Hospital, where he gained specialized training in hospital-based dentistry. This experience focused on treating medically complex patients and caring for individuals with special needs.

After finishing his residency, Dr. Nishikawa spent time teaching at USC's School of Dentistry and working in private practice. In 2016, he helped develop the dental clinic at SpaceX in Hawthorne, serving as the lead dentist for two and a half years. In 2018, Dr. Nishikawa proudly became the owner of his own dental practice, where he continues to offer high-quality care to both the general public and patients with special needs in the South Bay area.

Additionally, Dr. Nishikawa has a strong background in Sports Dentistry, having volunteered as the Associate Team Dentist for the MLS Chivas USA team (2012-2015) and the MLS Los Angeles Football Club (2018-present). He also volunteers as a dentist for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Personal Life

A lifelong Southern California resident and native of the South Bay, Dr. Nishikawa lives in Torrance with his wife, Dr. Camille, a pediatric dentist, and their son, Broderick (“Brodie”). The family enjoys spending time outdoors with their rescue dog, Harvey, and going on hikes. When they're not juggling family life, Dr. Daryn and Dr. Camille are passionate about playing golf, traveling, and attending USC football, Dodgers, Lakers, and LAFC games. On weekends, they can often be found strolling through Riviera Village, enjoying the local community and spending quality time with their families.
