Dr. Steve Yabuno has been dedicated to meeting the dental needs of Torrance residents since opening his practice in 1981. Originally from the Big Island of Hawaii, Dr. Yabuno was raised in Los Angeles. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at UCLA before earning his dental degree from the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry in 1980. To further enhance his expertise, he completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Long Beach.

Dr. Yabuno is committed to delivering the highest quality care, continuously striving for excellence through ongoing education and postdoctoral training. He remains an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Dental Society. He regularly participates in advanced courses focusing on Dental Aesthetics, Implantology, Sleep Apnea, and Restorative Dentistry.

A devoted family man, Dr. Yabuno has been happily married to his wife, Vicki, for over 30 years. Together, they have three children. Their son, Dr. Daniel Yabuno, works alongside Dr. Yabuno in providing exceptional care to their patients, while their daughters, Jamie Yabuno, MD, and Kristen Yabuno, RN, MSN, serve their community in the medical field.

Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Yabuno enjoys swimming, weight training, biking, fishing, and traveling, often exploring new places and broadening his horizons when he's not reading dental journals.
