After moving to the Uniondale, New York area, I needed a new dentist. I noticed that Dr. Kaufman had outstanding reviews, so I came in. The reviews were absolutely correct! I had an amazing experience, and I was very much at ease the entire time, no pain at all. Dr. Kaufman does a great job informing his patients and working with their insurance plans. I honestly don't believe the reviews that say that they had to wait an hour. I had two crowns in the past 6 months and a cleaning. I never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time. The staff works very efficiently to make sure that they are punctual. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if these other reviewers just showed up late for their appointment and expected to see the second they walked through the door. My philosophy is “show up early get in early.” I showed up at 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment to have a crown put on. I was seen at 10:25 and out by 10:50. So, I just can't believe that others had an extremely long wait. I normally don't even bother to review my experiences, but I felt like I had to tell everyone how amazing Dr. Richard Kaufman is. I will not go anywhere else for my dental needs.

Dr. Richard Kaufman and his staff are incredibly expeditious. I had a dental emergency, and abscess, and was promptly scheduled for an appointment even though they were already incredibly booked. The office is very new and spacious. They promptly took my x-rays and then displayed them on a large monitor in the patient room. Dr. Kaufman discussed both my situation and my treatment options very thoroughly with me. A few weeks later, I went back for an extraction and did the prep for an implant. The cost was very affordable. I cannot recommend the office highly enough.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Richard Kaufman! My brother is handicapped and has diabetes, so he requires extra care. It is very important that he has a gentle and compassionate dentist who is willing to work with him. Dr. Kaufman is that dentist for us. He is very willing to listen to all of our concerns and does a great job on my brother's dental care. Dr. Kaufman did a great job monitoring my brother's healing process. So far he is healing very well, and there have not been any additional complication. Personally, I've been to seven different dentists in the past 20 years. One of my previous dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and just get dentures. Dr. Kaufman said this was absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implants, so he helps me devise a treatment plan that was a whole lot less drastic. I am highly satisfied with his work and Incredibly grateful that I have found such a wonderful dentist and friend. Dr. Kaufman is very honest and efficient. I hadn't been to the dentist for quite some time, but I knew that choosing a dentist was similar to choosing someone who works on your car. You need someone that you can trust. You want someone who won't pressure you into getting extra work done and someone who will do a great job at an affordable rate. I saw a Dr. Kaufman today, the Saturday before New Year's Eve, without an appointment because I lost a crown last night. Granted, the crown was over 35 years old and had been done by another dentist, but I still needed it fixed. I expected to have a long wait, but the X-ray process was very efficient. Less than 10 minutes later, I was prepped to see Dr. Kaufman, who numbed me for the procedure. An hour later, I had a new temporary in place and a permanent crown had been ordered. I love the high quality technology they have at this practice. Instead of making an impression of my teeth in clay-filled tray of yore, they used 3D digital imaging to map out my teeth and photograph them for color matching. Same result without all the radiation! Dr. Kaufman was so expeditious and accommodating. Thank you so much!
