Dr. Jane Kim attended Northwest University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She then went to the University of Illinois at Chicago to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and her Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences. To finish her education, Dr. Kim then completed a three-year surgical residency program that specialized in implant surgery and periodontics. She continues to attend her alma mater as an associate professor in the Department of Periodontics.

In her practice, Dr. Kim is a firm believer in a team approach to dentistry. She collaborates with a group of other specialists to provide comprehensive dental care to her patients and to come up with the best treatment plans for them. Her practice specializes in surgical therapy, which includes bone and soft tissue grafting, periodontal plastic surgery, crown lengthening surgery, treatment of periodontal disease, and dental extractions. Today, she is an active member of the Illinois Society of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Midwest Society of Periodontology, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
