Dr. Amanda Matthews understands that good dental care is essential to upkeeping her patients’ overall health and wellness. She provides her patients with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that puts them at ease as she works to create individualized treatment plans for each patient’s personal needs and dental goals. Ensuring that her patients walk out of her office with functional, beautiful smiles is her number one goal. That’s why she attends continuing education courses that keep her up to date on new dental techniques and technologies.

Dr. Matthews attended Tatnall School and the University of Delaware where she earned her undergraduate degree in biology with minors in psychology, Spanish, and biochemistry. She graduated summa cum laude with honors. She then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she completed her dental education. She did her residency program at Christiana Care’s Wilmington Hospital. Dr. Matthews has studied at the Spear Institute and is a member of the Faculty Club. Today, she is a member of the Delaware State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
