Dr. Matthew McKissock fervently believes in the importance of eliminating pain from dental procedures to reduce dental anxiety in patients. After earning his Doctorate from the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry, and spending a year in a residency program at Fort Carson in Colorado learning advanced general dentistry, Dr. McKissock published an award-winning article on dental anxiety in the prestigious Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to that, Dr. McKissock attended an intensive cosmetic training course at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, as well as the world-renowned Pankey Institute. Dr. McKissock then went on to work as a dentist in the US military in Kuwait and Georgia. Because of his extensive postgraduate education, he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. In 2008, he completed the one-year Maxi-course for implant training from New York University.
