He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society, and he is the President of the Peoria District Dental Society. He has served as Treasurer and executive board member of the Peoria District Dental Society, too. He graduated from St. Teresa Grade School and Althoff Catholic High School before going on to the University of Missouri where he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. In 2006, he earned his Bachelor of Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude. To earn his D.M.D. degree, Dr. Sudholt attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. John Van Scoyoc loves making connections with the people in his community. Dr. Scoyoc graduated from Miami University with a Zoology degree, then went on to the University of Illinois Dental School where he earned his dental degree and met his wife and partner, Dr. Stacey. After graduating and opening his practice, Dr. Scoyoc felt that it was important to offer his knowledge and time to his community. He spent 10 years working as a children's dentist at the McLean County Health Department. He has also volunteered much of his time at the Gary S. Johnson extraction clinics. Today, Dr. Scoyoc is an active member of numerous dental associations, such as the McLean County Dental Society which awarded him the Presidents Award in 2006. He has also served as the Student Delegate, Alternate Delegate, and Delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society.
