Dr. Hugh T. Herrington never imagined his interest in dentistry would take him this far. He graduated from Lambuth University in Jackson, TN, in 1976 where he was part of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He then attended the UT Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, where he earned his DDS in 1980. Today, he is part of an amazing dental team made up of twelve wonderful co-workers, one incredible partner, and countless patients who make every day at the office a pleasure. Dr. Herrington values the impact his patients have had on his life and works hard every day to stay up-to-date on the latest dental technologies so that he can provide them with the best quality dental care possible.

Dr. Tyson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Tyson and his wife, Anna, are proud parents of one daughter and two sons. They live in Madison and are active members of Summit Crossing Community Church. In their free time, the family enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and cheering on Alabama football.

Dr. Meghan Darby graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2007 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. She completed a competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Eglin AFB, FL, in 2008. Dr. Darby was then stationed at Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA, where she earned the distinction of Company Grade Officer of the Quarter in 2010 for her contributions to the 23rd Aerospace Medicine Squadron. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Darby has completed over 500 hours of continuing education to stay at the forefront of her field.

Dr. Darby has been married to Anthony Darby, originally from Decatur, Alabama, for fourteen years. Together, they have two energetic sons: Jackson, 12, and Grayson, 9. Dr. Darby graduated from Mississippi State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and she proudly supports her alma mater—though she admits she’s often a frustrated football fan. Dr. Darby, a 1997 graduate of Sparkman High School, is excited to be back in the area, both living and practicing near her roots. Outside of her dental work, she enjoys exploring the beautiful trails of the Southeast through hiking and staying fit at Rocket City Crossfit. Committed to serving others, Dr. Darby dedicates two and a half days each month to providing free tooth extractions at the Community Dental Free Clinic for Madison County's low-income residents. She and her family are active members of Malachi Church, where they frequently volunteer together at the Downtown Rescue Mission.

Dr. Greg Hawkins knew that dentistry was his calling after his own dentist helped him deal with a bad oral health situation as a child. He realized that he wanted to do the same for others and started on the track to becoming a dentist. Dr. Hawkins attended Holly Pond High School, then went on to Auburn University where he completed his undergraduate studies by 1983. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1988. Since then, he has been a practicing dentist, working closely with his patients to treat their conditions and provide them with long-lasting solutions.
