Carlie L.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but after my experience with Dr. Schambeau, it’s the least I can do for the best dentist in Bessemer, AL! To sum it up, I had an elective procedure but woke up 2 days later with a horrendous toothache. I called Schambeau Dental Care and they fit me in the same day. The office is relaxing and very clean and the staff was fantastic, as was Dr. Schambeau. He gives top-notch patient care, was very helpful and friendly, and was truly looking out for my well-being. Dr. Schambeau actually referred me to a specialist, but he said he’d do what he could until I could see the specialist. I couldn’t have expected a better visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good dentist in Bessemer, AL. Thanks for everything and for giving me hope that there are genuine, caring dentists out there.

A common reason to search for a dentist is to address pain in one or more teeth. While temporary aches could occur for a number of reasons, including sinus concerns, one that persists for more than a day could be a sign of a deeper problem. For instance, a persistent tooth pain could be caused by tooth decay, the early stages of a dental abscess, or as a result of weakened enamel due to teeth grinding and clenching. When you have an aching tooth that does not subside, you most likely need a dental restoration. Doctors Network can help you find a dentist in the Hueytown, AL community who takes emergency patients!

When the dental professional examines you, digital x-rays are used to assess the severity of the cavity. From there, the appropriate treatment option is chosen. For children and adults alike, a tooth-filling made from biocompatible material could bring relief. A dental crown could also be used to address advanced decay. When possible, the dentist will take steps to utilize more lifelike options, so they offer a natural appearance. If you have persistent discomfort, use our search module to connect with Hueytown dentists who are open on Sundays and request an appointment in seconds.

Have you ever noticed popping or cracking when you open your mouth? Do you have frequent headaches or jaw pain? If so, this could be related to widespread jaw joint disorders. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from TMD and teeth grinding. Without treatment, these could not just cause jaw pain, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dentist in Hueytown, AL who accepts private patients.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the jaw joints undergo excessive strain. This could cause problems with jaw function. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, and neck. Bruxism means you clench or grind your teeth in your sleep. The pressure of clenching could cause jaw pain and headaches. Teeth grinding could also damage teeth. This damage could lead to cavities, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could mean eventual teeth grinding, and vice-versa. When you have frequent discomfort in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Hueytown who accepts private patients.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following crown placement, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dental professionals is a custom splint, which fits like a nightguard. If you need to find treatment from a Hueytown dentist. then contact our team!

Do you have a severely decayed tooth that needs treatment? If so, the placement of a dental crown could help. The dental crown is custom-made for your dentition and can give back function, health, and beauty to your smile. Our team can help find you a Hueytown, AL dentist who can restore your teeth, and also who will accept private patients. Don’t risk an abscessed tooth!

One of the first signs of trouble could be a tooth sensitivity. This could mean the presence of tooth decay. As toothache worsens, you could risk worsening infection or even the loss of your tooth. A trauma that fractures a tooth could also lead to complications like infection with time. In these situations, restorative treatment could save the tooth. If the tooth defect is too severe for a tooth filling, then you may need a full dental restoration.

The crown is a complete dental restoration. Once placed, this will cover the entire visible portion of your tooth. They could be made from biocompatible materials like metal. However, many dentists in the Hueytown, AL area offer more aesthetic options crafted from porcelain. The total placement process takes two individual dental appointments. The dental crown, whether we use a metal or more lifelike options, will be personalized for your smile. The custom nature of this dental prosthetic provides a balanced bite, protecting your smile from the onset of bruxism. If you have teeth that need repair then contact Doctors Network. We can help you find the dental practices that fit your needs and accept private patients.

It is paramount for your little ones to visit the dentist bi-yearly for exams and cleanings. By teaching your kids preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dentist in Hueytown who takes new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80 percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your child’s teeth. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Hueytown.

Many individuals would be ecstatic to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see countless products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Hueytown, AL that accepts uninsured patients, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your Hueytown dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for a few hours each day for about two weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to request a consultation online with a Hueytown dentist that accepts uninsured patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been over six months since you last went to a dentist, you should schedule a consultation soon. When you go in for bi-annual checkups, your dentist can closely examine your teeth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent decay from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more costly procedures down the road. If you need to schedule a checkup with a dentist in Hueytown, AL that takes patients who do not have insurance we can help you find a great office.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove tartar that is hard to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental prophylaxis will leave your teeth feeling rejuvenated and fresh.

Once your cleaning is completed, your Hueytown dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your visit, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential complications. Should they notice something awry, they will explain your treatment options. The Hueytown practice we set you up with will offer comprehensive services to address a variety of dental conditions. If you visit the dentist regularly they can monitor the health of your teeth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that takes patients who do not have insurance, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
