Doctors Network

Yellowstone in Wyoming was America’s first official National Park. With the lowest population of all 50 states, at only 585,000 people, the park is also what most outsiders recognize about Wyoming. However, for those who call it home, there’s much more to the Equality State (so named because it was the first state to give women the right to vote). Among the state’s many hidden treasures, residents can now be proud to include inexpensive dental care with the help of Doctors Network. Teaming up with dentists across the state, Doctors Network is a group of dentists and doctors who aim to make expert dental health care attainable for everyone. By offering direct dental plans, Wyoming dentists can help patients change their lives by making high-quality dentistry significantly more affordable.

Doctors Network

Patients of all ages need routine dental care to keep their smiles healthy, and to avoid the high costs of restorative and reconstructive treatment in cases of severe dental issues. However, for the 13.4% of Wyoming residents who do not have insurance, even routine preventive visits can quickly add up and become too expensive to maintain. For patients who do have insurance, treatments such as teeth-whitening, Invisalign® aligners, dental implants, and more may not be covered under their plans. Rather than pay exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses for necessary dental care, Doctors Network allows dentists to offer their patients substantial discounts on every treatment, from regular checkups and cleanings (at only $25 per visit) to more extensive cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic services (which are discounted by up to 90%).

What is dental cleaning?

If you take good care of your teeth, you may be wondering why your dentist says you need this appointment every 6 months. There are several dental problems that you may miss at an early stage. They may not cause any pain, and may not demonstrate any visible signs. However, a dental prophylaxis appointment (teeth cleaning visit) can help your dentist diagnose these dental problems at an early stage. The term dental cleaning (prophylaxis) encompasses several techniques that are used by most dental personnel to professionally remove plaque, stain, and calculus (tartar) from patients’ teeth. Oftentimes, the toothbrush coronal polish (i.e. toothbrush and toothpaste) is a procedure that is used to remove plaque from teeth surfaces and demonstrate brushing techniques to caregivers for young kids and for patients with special needs who cannot tolerate using a rubber cup. The rubber cup coronal polish is a treatment in which a dental polishing paste is rubbed onto tooth surfaces with a rotary bristle brush or rotary rubber cup to remove plaque and stains from your teeth. Dental scaling is a procedure where hand or ultrasonic instruments are used to remove calculus or tartar and stains. Full mouth debridement may be needed as a preliminary treatment for those patients whose medical, psychological, physical, or periodontal conditions result in calculus accumulation beyond the scope of routine prophylaxis (regular teeth cleanings). These procedures expedite the clinical examination and introduce dental services to the patient. Also, the accompanying preventive appointment demonstrates proper oral hygiene techniques to the patient and/or caregivers. Flossing is an essential part of the prophylaxis that removes interproximal and subgingival (under the gum) plaque, aiding in educating the patient and enhancing the oral examination.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
