My family and I are fairly new patients of Dr. Dave’s, but every time we’ve come in the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. My daughter had a huge cavity during one of our first visits, but they were able to get her in quickly and treated her very fast. She got to watch a movie during the procedure and she felt very comfortable. Dr. Dave frequently asked how she was doing during the procedure. This is a great dental office in Depot, I highly recommend Dr. Dave's Dental Care and his staff in Memphis.

I’m so happy my friend referred me to Dr. Roberson at Global Dental Center in Memphis, TN. My kids have been seeing her for a few years, and they used to cry just sitting in the chair. But Dr. Roberson and her staff really took their time with them. They showed them nothing but kindness and empathy, and they even let them both sit in the chair so that they didn’t have to sit alone. Dr. Roberson is quick but detailed and answers all my questions no matter what. She tells me how to floss my toddlers’ teeth, and once, she helped ease my anxiety when I realized I had been giving my daughter the incorrect fluoride dose. To me, it was a huge disaster, but Dr. Roberson didn’t shame me or make me feel bad about it. She even lets my kids call her “aunty” to make them feel better. She’s so gentle and respectful. If you have kids who don’t like doctors or dentists, I highly recommend you try her out. The entire staff is great with children, and the office is beautiful and sanitary!

My Granddaughter needs a lot of dental work. Her teeth are actually rotting away. She is 23 and has no insurance. But she could possibly pay out of pocket like a payment plan. She is getting married in April and she needs something done soon.

What is dental cleaning?

If you take good care of your teeth, you may be wondering why your dentist says you need this appointment every 6 months. There are several dental problems that you may miss at an early stage. They may not cause any pain, and may not demonstrate any visible signs. However, a dental prophylaxis appointment (teeth cleaning visit) can help your dentist diagnose these dental problems at an early stage. The term dental cleaning (prophylaxis) encompasses several techniques that are used by most dental personnel to professionally remove plaque, stain, and calculus (tartar) from patients’ teeth. Oftentimes, the toothbrush coronal polish (i.e. toothbrush and toothpaste) is a procedure that is used to remove plaque from teeth surfaces and demonstrate brushing techniques to caregivers for young kids and for patients with special needs who cannot tolerate using a rubber cup. The rubber cup coronal polish is a treatment in which a dental polishing paste is rubbed onto tooth surfaces with a rotary bristle brush or rotary rubber cup to remove plaque and stains from your teeth. Dental scaling is a procedure where hand or ultrasonic instruments are used to remove calculus or tartar and stains. Full mouth debridement may be needed as a preliminary treatment for those patients whose medical, psychological, physical, or periodontal conditions result in calculus accumulation beyond the scope of routine prophylaxis (regular teeth cleanings). These procedures expedite the clinical examination and introduce dental services to the patient. Also, the accompanying preventive appointment demonstrates proper oral hygiene techniques to the patient and/or caregivers. Flossing is an essential part of the prophylaxis that removes interproximal and subgingival (under the gum) plaque, aiding in educating the patient and enhancing the oral examination.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
