Dr. Kevin P. Valle has been practicing dentistry since 1988. He began his work with his identical twin brother in Annapolis, Maryland. In 2007, he moved to South Portland, ME, to join Progressive Dental Care where he has been practicing ever since.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Valle earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola College of Baltimore where he also earned a ranking in the TriBeta Biological Honor Society. He graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, the first dental school in the world, in 1988. He was a part of the first group of dental graduates in the country to complete a new type of clinical training, which then became a prototype for dental schools across the world.

After graduating and opening his practice, Dr. Valle worked hard to become a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He continues to attend society meetings today. There he acted as Class President and student-faculty liaison to negotiate curriculum development and grading policy. While in school he also served on the university’s digital radiography implementation committee and was Vice President of the student chapter of the American Association of Endodontists.

After graduating, Dr. Lukas began his life as a practicing dentist. However, he didn’t always know that dentistry was his calling. Dr. Lukas earned his undergraduate degree in art and biology from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. He graduated in 1994 and then began a successful career as a representative for several dental technology device manufacturers. He spent his time training dentists around the country to use advanced dental equipment including digital radiography, surgical microscopes, and dental lasers. His career was fruitful, but something was missing.

His career gave him a great appreciation for dental technologies, but it was missing a human touch. He eventually recognized that working one-on-one with patients was his passion. Dr. Paul Cloutier took an unusual path to dentistry, earning his bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College in 1990, and then starting a career in politics before discovering his passion for dental science. Although Dr. Cloutier enjoyed living in Washington, DC, and working for Senator George Mitchell, he missed his home state of Maine. Longing to be closer to home, and to have a more hands-on career, Dr. Cloutier discovered dentistry. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2003 and opened his first dental practice in 2005. Since then, he has opened Main Street Dental where he continues to practice today.

Dr. Cloutier always strives for perfection when it comes to treating patients. His goal is to earn the trust of everyone who comes to his office, honor their needs, and meet their expectations. Dr. Huy Nguyen was born in the United States but was raised primarily in Germany. For completion of his higher education, Dr. Nguyen decided to attend the University of Washington in Seattle to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Boston University to earn his Masters in Oral Health Sciences and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Today, he is a practicing dentist in the beautiful state of Maine.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2018 from the University of New England and became a board-certified general dentist. While in school, Dr. J fell in love with the beautiful state of Maine and its people. He opened Integrity Dental upon graduating and continues to practice there today.

Dr. Peter Garramore was introduced to dentistry at a young age by his oral surgeon uncle but initially chose to pursue laboratory science. After graduating from Biddeford High School, he attended the University of New England, then the University of New Hampshire where he earned his master’s degree in biochemistry. Soon after, he began his career in the lab. He enjoyed the science side of it but felt lonely and longed for a more people-oriented lifestyle.

Dr. Garramore decided to earn his dental degree from Oral Roberts University School of Dentistry. He was awarded the outstanding senior dental student award from the dental faculty at the Academy of General Dentistry. Upon graduating, Dr. Garramore went to Monmouth Medical Center to complete a dental medicine general practice residency. He returned to Biddeford, ME, and opened his practice where he continues to treat patients today.

Dr. Jay Weitecha is a dentist with a passion for community outreach. His time spent out-of-office is dedicated to numerous dental organizations and programs that improve the quality of dental treatment in his community and throughout Maine. He has been an active member of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, The McGrath Pond Salmon Lake Association (MPSLA), and Waterville's Community Dental Center. He has also spent time as a board member, vice president, and president of the Maine Academy of General Dentistry, and editor of The Pine Tree General Practitioner. He has also been secretary/treasurer of the Kennebec Valley Dental Society, a local branch of the Maine Dental Association. Currently, Dr. Weitecha and his younger partner, Dr. Joe Dumont, are co-chairs for the Maine AGD continuing education programs through which they promote first-rate continuing education courses every year.

Dr. Weitecha discovered his interest in dentistry at a young age. After graduating high school, he spent time working in the orthodontic practice run by his friend's father. He graduated from the University of San Diego in 1996 with a degree in biology. Dr. Weitecha then went on to Tufts School of Dental Medicine where he earned his dental degree. He completed a five-week externship in Togus, Maine, with the Veterans Association Hospital and fell in love with the state, deciding that one day he would open his practice there.

After graduating, Dr. Weitecha earned Mastership and Fellowship awards from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He earned a Fellowship award from the International Congress of Implantology (ICOI). When he is not working with patients in the office or volunteering at the many organizations he is a part of, Dr. Weitecha attends continuing education programs that keep him current with the latest dental discoveries. He has completed programs with The Misch Implant Institute, The Dawson Academy, The New England Mastertrack, and Spear Education. He trained with Dr. Laliberte before becoming a mentor himself for Dr. Vayanos and Dr. Dumont.

Dr. Brittney Bell is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association. Her interest in dentistry first appeared at the age of four when she visited her family dentist for the first time. Since then, she has been on the fast track to professional dentistry.

Dr. Bell graduated as a Salutatorian from Poland Regional High School in 2009. She completed her bachelor’s in biology degree in 2013 from Colby College. She was a dedicated track-and-field athlete, competing at the national level. She worked in local dentists' offices for the next two years while matriculating at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. She was awarded by the faculty the Academic Achievement Award and earned Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors. She graduated top of her class in 2019. She has been passionately providing her patients with top-quality dentistry since then.
