dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our deciduous teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is often due to injury. Gum disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems eating. Problems talking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile alignment, or even your youthful features. You need an excellent private dentist in Baltimore, AL who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will help connect you to an awesome dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Then, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be secured with tooth implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your jawbones and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Baltimore area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience chronic snoring, you may not realize it, but a dentist could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a comfortable and noninvasive solution to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and cause you to stop breathing. Patients actually stop breathing for a few moments until the brain wakes them. Even if you assume you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it time to use the search tool on Doctors Network and find Baltimore, AL dentists who provide treatment options?

Symptoms of sleep apnea could include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and even irritability could occur too. With no intervention, OSA could even strain your immune system and heart health. When you notice similar signs and symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

This week we are celebrating our dental professionals in New York, NY.

There is no substitute for an attractive smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs in Baltimore, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Baltimore dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
