dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our deciduous teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is often due to injury. Gum disease is the number one cause. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems articulating could occur. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even your youthful features. You need an amazing private dentist in Greenbrier, AL who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a skilled dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to assess your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be supported with multiple dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Greenbrier‘s proximity and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving a dental prosthetic. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience chronic snoring, you may not assume a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can often provide a non-invasive solution to stop nighttime airway obstruction. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and cut off airflow. People actually stop breathing for a few moments until the brain wakes them. Even if you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you use the search tool on Doctors Network to find Greenbrier, AL dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Sings of OSA include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime drowsiness, and even moodiness could occur too. Without treatment, OSA could strain your immune system and your cardiovascular health. When you experience similar symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

This week we are celebrating our dental care providers near Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a broken tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you might need a cosmetic treatment. With tooth reshaping and tooth-color bonding in Greenbrier, AL, these and other aesthetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a dental care professional in Greenbrier, AL who accepts new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may be surprised to discover just how much these two treatments can do in only one visit.

Tooth bonding repairs cosmetic concerns effectively. The material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed onto the prepared area. Greenbrier cosmetic dentists also use this material to address cracked or chipped teeth. During tooth contouring, the dentist actually sands and polishes the outer tooth surfaces to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn general dentists. Utilizing these two treatments, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask stains on teeth, and close spaces between teeth.

There is no substitute for an attractive smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near you in Greenbrier, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Greenbrier dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
