I truly love the staff at Schambeau Dental Care in Bessemer, AL. Everyone is so nice, and the dentist is super friendly. I went to this office a few years ago, but because I was pregnant at the time, they couldn’t treat me right away. So they told me to come back after I had the baby, but it completely slipped my mind. Well, I went today, and the hygienist did my cleaning and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Schambeau was as nice as always and took me through my treatment plan. Lastly, the receptionist showed me the bill and offered multiple payment options. Since I’m about to buy a home, I need to be careful with spending, but they were very accommodating to my needs. I don’t like to go to the dentist, but when I do need to go, Schambeau Dental Care is the only place I go! I love it there!

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our baby teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. The advanced stage of gum disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have problems eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your youthful features. You need an amazing in-network dentist in Harrisburg, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a skilled dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be secured with titanium implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Harrisburg‘s proximity and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us help. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a poor sleeping pattern, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can provide a non-invasive solution to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which as you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing for a few moments until the brain wakes them. Even if you think you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it time to contact Doctors Network and find Harrisburg, AL dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Sings of sleep apnea include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime drowsiness, headaches, and even moodiness could occur too. With no treatment, OSA could even impact your immune system and your cardiovascular health. When you notice similar symptoms, consider finding out your treatment options. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are honoring our dental care providers in New York, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you need a cosmetic consultation. With contouring and dental bonding in Harrisburg, AL, these and other aesthetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a dental care professional in Harrisburg, AL who takes new patients and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may not believe just how much these two treatments can do in only one sitting.

Composite filling repairs aesthetic concerns using a metal-free material. The material, a blend of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed onto the prepared area. Harrisburg cosmetic dentists also use this material to repair dental caries. With dental contouring, the dentist actually sands and buffs the outer tooth surfaces to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are honoring our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. Using these two treatments, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask stains on teeth, and even close spaces between the teeth.

All that to say, when you develop discomfort in the gums, you should seek help as soon as you can. Inflamed and receding gums, especially with bleeding, are common indicators that you need to find a Harrisburg restorative dentist.

As children, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from grinding and clenching your teeth could damage your smile. Cracks, chips, and worn-down structures could leave your smile vulnerable. You are also more likely to develop tooth decay or even infected teeth, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to find a dental practice in Harrisburg.

Your partner or spouse may let you know that you have bruxism when you sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and headaches. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the underlying factors. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal night guards. So don’t ignore the possible warning signs, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts private patients.

You can’t put a price on a full smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Harrisburg, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Harrisburg dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
