dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontitis leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems articulating could occur. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need a skilled private dentist in Knob Noster, MO who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will help connect you to a skilled dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to assess your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For multiple gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be stablized with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your jaw and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Knob Noster‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from a sleep disorder, you may not think a dentist could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a comfortable option to stop nighttime airway obstruction. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which as you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. Patients literally stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even as you believe you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you use the search tool on Doctors Network and find Knob Noster, MO dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Symptoms of OSA could include chronic snoring. Daytime headaches, and even moodiness could be factors too. Without intervention, OSA could strain your immune system and heart health. When you suffer similar symptoms, consider finding out your treatment options. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally sleep well.

Nothing feels better than showing off a perfect smile, but as we age, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional options, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near Knob Noster, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Knob Noster dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts walk-in patients. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.
