The staff at Dr. Petersen is the best. I never have to wait when I come in, and the procedures are always thorough but fast. They’re a pretty busy place, but they keep things moving, which is nice. I’ve been a patient here since they opened, and I’ve always had an enjoyable experience. I’ve recommended them to all my friends, they’re the best dental office in Leawood, Kansas. A lot of my friends love this place too. The entire staff is kind and really cares about their patients. I’ve had cleanings, new caps, new white fillings, and root canals done here, and everything has always looked great. Thank you, Dr. Petersen.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our baby teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontal disease is the number one cause. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties eating. Problems speaking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile alignment, or even your facial structure. You need a permanent in-network dentist in Odessa, MO who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to an awesome dentist in your area. After that, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, restoring smile function. For several gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be secured with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your jawbones and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Odessa area and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us help. We can get you started on receiving bridges or dentures. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from a poor sleeping pattern, you may not realize it, but a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can provide a comfortable solution to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. Patients actually stop breathing briefly until the brain wakes them. Even if you think you slept well, you could feel tired! But when should you contact Doctors Network and find Odessa, MO dentists who provide treatment options?

Warning signs could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime headaches, and trouble with interpersonal relationships could be factors too. With no intervention, OSA could even strain your immune system and heart health. When you notice similar symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally sleep well.

This week we are honoring our dentists in New York, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you might need a cosmetic consultation. With contouring and tooth-color bonding in Odessa, MO, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be can be addressed with lifelike results. At Doctors Network, we can help connect you with a restorative dentist in Odessa, MO who accepts new patients and can tackle your oral health concerns. Dental restoration repairs cosmetic concerns using a metal-free material. The composite resin, a mixture of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Odessa general dentists also use the same material to treat tooth decay. During contouring, the dentist simply sands and polishes the outer tooth surfaces to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

This week we are celebrating our Brooklyn family dentists. Utilizing these two treatments, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask teeth stains, and even close gaps between the teeth.

Nothing feels better than a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Odessa, you are not alone, but firstly, you need to find a Odessa dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.
