Dr. Tara M. Griffin's mission is to get rid of sleep apnea once and for all! As a doctor, diplomat, speaker, and businesswoman, Dr. Griffin works tirelessly to research sleeping and breathing disorders, as well as oral health and their relation. In 2016, she spoke as an expert in Dental Sleep Medicine at the Harvard Faculty Club. She has also had her medical abstracts published in national sleep journals.

Dr. Griffin graduated from the University of Alabama and Nova Southeastern University. She has also studied at the Academy of Functional Medicine and Genomics, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. She earned her Double Diplomate from the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She earned her certification in Cranial Osteopathy from the Cranial Academy ALF Orthodontics. She is also a Clinical Advisor with Vivos Therapeutics, Inc.

On the business side of things, Dr. Griffin is the CEO of Emerald Coast Dental Spa & Sleep Medicine and has been internationally certified to train doctors in the areas of Enhanced Facial Esthetics, Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Sleep Breathing Disorder, and TMJ Disorders using the DNA, mRNA, and VIVOS Appliances. Her work earned her a nomination as Business Woman of the Year by the Emerald Ladies Journal, and she was awarded Small Business Person of the Year by Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Her company was named "Best Sleep Clinic" by the Panama City Award Program.

Dr. Anish Patel was born and raised in England. He and his family moved to Texas when he was 13, and then to Florida at the age of 16. He has been in Florida since. Dr. Patel received his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando in biology. He then received his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.

Shortly after Dr. Patel graduated, he started a dental practice in Jacksonville, FL. He realized then he and his family would prefer to live in a smaller city. He toured all of Florida and found the Emerald Coast to be perfect for his family.
Dr. Patel has completed the following trainings in many aspects of dentistry, which helped him provide a wide range of dental procedures at Panama City Smiles:

What keeps Dr. Patel motivated is seeing the results and seeing his patient happy when he removes their braces, or after restoring implants for someone who had missing teeth, and seeing that they are able to smile again. Dr. Patel loves giving back to the community and the Pier Park area and he looks forward to meeting you in person to help you discover the smile you always wanted!

Dr. Nick Jazayeri, AKA Dr. J, takes pride in his practice of Dentistry. He attends continuing education programs regularly and stays up to date with the latest and greatest innovations in dentistry. Dr. Jazayeri has lived in the Greater Fort Walton Beach area for more than two decades. He is from central Illinois originally, so he truely appreciates the warm weather here.

In his spare time, Dr. J enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys all that the Gulf Coast has to offer such as boating, fishing, wake boarding and going to the beach. He lives an active lifestyle and tries to promote a healthy lifestyle by example.
Dr. Jazayeri established his roots in the panhandle to continue to serve the community in a positive way.
