Making a cleaning appointment was so easy - most dentist offices make you schedule a new patient exam appointment and then the cleaning, and obviously, they charge for each visit - but that’s not the case with Absolute Smile in Philadelphia, PA! They gave me all the new patient forms to complete and offered me something to drink. They took me back right after I was done, and I had a wonderful experience. There was a TV in the waiting room, and I gather he does a lot of great things for the community, aside from amazing cleanings, of course!

I called Absolute Smile, and the receptionist was very personable, wrote down my info, and told me they accepted my insurance. In 10 minutes’ time, I scheduled an appointment. I love Dr. Vasilyev! He’s so kind and will talk to you to ease your nerves before touching your teeth. He’s obviously knowledgeable, and whenever he finds an issue, he proves it by showing you where it is. In the two times I’ve seen him, he’s always recommended certain procedures but doesn’t pressure me into them. For example, he recommended refilling four of my teeth but admitted that it was just a preventative suggestion and that they’d probably hold up for a few months or even years yet. I decided to wait until my next check up to see if anything’s changed. Even after that, no one called asking if I wanted to schedule that appointment, which was awesome. Right before my 6-month check up, they sent me appointment reminders, so it’s helpful if you tend to forget things like that! The second visit was just as great as the first appointment, and I’ll come back for sure!
