Dr. Chris Sullivan was inspired by his physician father at a young age to become a healthcare provider. He enjoys treating complex cases such as full-mouth reconstruction and emergency services and thinks of them as a puzzle. Dr. Sullivan earned his bachelor's in biological systems engineering from UNL, then went to UNMC College of Dentistry to earn his DDS. He graduated with Highest Distinction, received the Dean's Award for High Academic Achievement, and was a Regents Scholar.

Dr. Dustin J. Bailey looks forward to seeing his patients every day. To him, they aren't just patients. They're friends! Building strong, lasting relationships with them is his key to success and the foundation of his practice at Optimal Dental. Dr. Bailey works hard to provide high-quality, convenient, and diverse dental procedures that make his patients' visits to the dentist a positive experience. To ensure that he stays up to date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, Dr. Bailey attends continuing education courses. He frequently exceeds the continuing education requirement for practicing dentists per year by over 100 hours.

Dr. Bailey graduated from Lincoln Pius X Catholic High School and then went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He earned his dental degree from the College of Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. By 1999, Dr. Bailey was a practicing dentist in Manhattan, Kansas. He moved to Nebraska to work alongside Dr. Jim Ganser with Optimal Dental and has been working there ever since.

Today, Dr. Bailey is a member of the Lincoln Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Orthodontic Society, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the Nebraska Dental Association.

Dr. Louis Hedlund started his studies as an undergraduate student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He then attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating, Dr. Hedlund was a member of the UNMC faculty but left his position to go into private practice. He is a founder and leading dentist of Antelope Creek Family Dentistry.

Dr. Jim Canarsky is a dentist your family can trust. With over 30 years of experience, and as the recipient of numerous awards and other accolades, Dr. Canarsky confidently provides high-quality, gentle dental care to patients of all ages. To ensure that his patients receive the best care possible, Dr. Canarsky has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education courses throughout his career that keep him up to date on modern dental procedures and technologies.

Dr. Canarsky is a certified Six Month Smiles provider and a certified Lumineers provider. He is a graduate of the following continuing education courses:

Dr. Canarsky earned his BS in pharmacy and graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1976. By 1984, he had earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While in school, Dr. Canarsky received the Academy of General Dentistry Outstanding Senior Student Award and the Alpha Omega Fraternity of Excellence in Scholarship Award. He has also received the American College of Stomatologic Surgeons Award, the American Association of Endodontists Certificate of Merit Award, the American Academy of Oral Pathology Award, and the UNL Certificate of Superior Scholarship Award. He is a practicing dentist at Gentle Family Dentistry.

Dr. Andre Rossini is a trilingual dentist fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. He was born and raised in Brazil where he was a practicing dentist for three years after earning his DDS degree in Asunción, Paraguay. He moved to Nebraska to complete a Master of Arts in teaching at UNL but soon decided he missed the patient-doctor connections of working in a dental office. He earned a second doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and has been a practicing dentist in Nebraska ever since. When he is not working with his own patients, Dr. Rossini can be found volunteering his dental abilities at Nebraska’s Mission of Mercy and the Lincoln People’s City Mission Free Medical Clinic.
