When a tooth develops an infection, treatment is required. Not seeking care means the tooth could essentially die. At this stage, the tooth might need to be extracted. Otherwise, the infection moves into surrounding teeth. Often, the ideal treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to find one of our knowledgeable Foley dentists for additional endodontic treatment.

Root canal treatment involves removing the tissues from the tooth’s interior. The interiors and root canals are cleaned with care, and a restorative material known as gutta percha is then administered. Usually, the tooth is then restored with a dental crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also blend with the smile. But if there are complications with the procedure, the prognosis of the condition could be questionable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and complications with eating. If you experience this, don’t risk tooth loss. Doctors Network can help you find a dental office in Foley, AL that can offer retreatment and accepts new patients.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a direct dental plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a simple monthly rate, you can obtain a root canal retreatment without breaking the bank!

When a tooth is decayed, it could become an abscessed tooth. The presence of an abscessed tooth means serious discomfort, and without treatment, it could lead to tooth loss. This is why your tooth may need root canal therapy. Fortunately, there are options available to treat an infection. Our network can help connect you to a Foley endodontist for root canal therapy. We can also help find a dentist that accepts self-pay patients.

A dental abscess means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with sensitive tooth structure. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it ensures a functional tooth. Lack of intervention for an infection could allow symptoms to grow worse. A common warning sign of trouble could include toothaches. Don’t ignore unexplained discomfort. Talk to our team about finding a Foley root canal specialist who accepts self-pay patients and other forms of coverage.

A root canal procedure is a restorative dental treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the dental specialist plans the treatment, the diseased pulp tissues are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a special restorative material is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a custom-made dental crown. The crown is designed to protect the tooth and appear esthetically pleasing. This treatment stops the spread of infection.

Daily brushing and flossing can help lower your risk of future caries and dental infections. Routine six-month visits help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Foley for dental infection, talk to Doctors Network or request an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept self-pay patients.

It is important for your little ones to visit a pediatric dentist every six months for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your children preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the knowledge to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a pediatric dental office in Foley who takes private patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with protective sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80%. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen your children’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Foley.

Many people would be ecstatic to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any grocery store, you see numerous products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide lackluster results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Foley, AL that accepts patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Foley dental care provider, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can use along with a safe bleaching or peroxide solution. You will put these on for one or two hours each day for roughly two weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a more radiant smile. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a Foley dentist that accepts patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last went to a dentist, you should schedule an appointment soon. When you go in for bi-yearly checkups, your dentist can thoroughly examine your mouth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent infections from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule an online appointment with a dentist in Foley, AL that accepts individuals with no dental insurance we can help you find a great match.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with terrific brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your mouth feeling rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is done, your Foley dentist will begin her or his examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your dentition to identify any potential problems. If they find anything amiss, they will explain your treatment options. The Foley dental office we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental conditions. When you visit the dentist consistently they can monitor the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that accepts individuals with no dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
