He graduated from North Thurston High School, then went on to graduate with honors in 2006 from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Besides his required courses, Dr. Cramer also took numerous electives in third molar impaction extraction with oral surgery, oral radiology, and pharmacology. During this time, Dr. Cramer became especially interested in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. This continues to be an interest of his to this day. He has attended over 1,600 hours of training in the areas of TMJ, sleep apnea, orthodontics, and orthopedics. His goal as a dentist is to provide his patients with beautiful smiles, as well as better muscle harmony, healthy TMJ, and a better facial profile. Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Washington in 1999 where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since graduating, he has practiced dentistry in both Tacoma and Auburn and is a founder of the AGD-national-approval study club, Northwest Comprehensive Orthodontics/TMD Seminars Group. He has given lectures to other dental care providers on orthodontic and TMD treatments since 2010 and has written extensively on the same topic for the International Journal of Orthodontics. In 2013, he was invited to speak at the Vietnamese-American Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacists Association, as well as the International Association for Orthodontics in Hollywood.
