Dr. Jesse G. Hronkin is committed to providing his patients with comfortable, high-quality dentistry. Dr. Joe Baggette is the co-owner of Alaska Premier Dental Group and GentleCare Dental Center. He graduated from High Point University in 1989 and from Temple University Dental School in 1993. After school, Dr. Baguette became a Bush dentist with the Indian Helath Service for 4 years. For 22 weeks of the year, he took care of the dental needs of native Alaskans, working up to 14 hours a day most days. In 1997, he joined the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. There, he was educated in emergency hospital dentistry and spent many hours working in the operating room with oral surgeons. In addition to this, Dr. Baggette took on other educational opportunities such as lectures and one-on-one clinical mentoring that honed his clinical abilities.

Dr. Derek Cluff has a unique dentistry background, completing most of his dental education with the United States Air Force. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, then graduated from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. Soon after, he joined the Air Force and was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. There, he completed a one-year Advanced Education General Dentistry residency program. The program refined Dr. Cluff’s knowledge and skills in all areas of dentistry such as IV sedation, surgical extractions, root canal treatment, implants, impacted third molars, and many other advanced procedures and techniques. Dr. Cluff was then stationed in Minot, North Dakota, where he worked as an official Air Force dentist and treated the dental problems of his fellow airmen. Later, he moved to Alaska with his family where he currently resides and works.

Dr. Lopez completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University where he earned his biology degree. He then earned his dental degree from Temple University Dental School in 2008. Today, he is the owner of Alcan Family Dental and has over 14 years of dentistry experience.

Dr. Clint Henrie always puts his patients first. He gives his patients the freedom to craft their own treatment plans alongside him, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident in the procedures they receive. To make even the most anxious patients feel comfortable, Dr. Henrie is a certified IV and oral sedative provider after receiving his IV sedation certificate from the University of Southern California. Dr. Henrie specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry. The most common procedures he does include implant services, same-day crowns, implant-supported dentures, oral surgery, and tooth replacement. He treats patients of all ages. He can also provide mercury amalgam removal. He also ensures that the treatments he provides to his patients are high-quality and up-to-date by completing advanced training. He completed the Sleep Conference and the TMD and has earned his certification in Six Month Smiles and Invisalign.

Dr. Triggs graduated from Brigham Young University and Portland State University. He earned his dental degree and was the president of his dental fraternity at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. Today, Dr. Triggs is a member of many dental associations, such as the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Dental Traumatology, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

In 2002, Dr. Triggs purchased Alaska Dental Associates. The following year he volunteered with Donated Dental Services. He is the director of the dental assisting school, Assist to Succeed Anchorage.

Dr. Rex Malcolm comes from a pharmacy background which makes his approach to dentistry different from most. When Dr. Malcolm works with his patients, he uses his experience as a pharmacist to discuss medications and overall health conditions that may be related to their oral health. Helping patients understand the connections between oral health and total body health is one of his passions. Improving the esthetics of his patients' smiles and their oral health is another.

Dr. Malcolm started his career as a pharmacist after earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia. While in school, he was an extern for the Indian Health Service in Sitka. Later, he decided that his calling was for dentistry. So, he went to dental school at the University of Louisville. Today, Dr. Malcolm specializes in many areas of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, emergency dentistry, endodontics, removable prosthetics, Invisalign, crown work, implants, extractions, bridge work, and fillings.

Dr. Jerry Hu is a practicing dentist currently working in Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska. His main interests in dentistry are dental sleep apnea and cosmetic dentistry, and he has done extensive research in both areas. Currently, he is working on a dental sleep medicine patent. He also lectures at national dentistry conferences all over the world.

When working with patients, Dr. Hu's goal is to positively change the lives of each of his patients by giving them new smiles. He earned local, state, and national scholarships that led to him being accepted into the competitive dual-degree "Preferred Admissions Program" at the University of Michigan. This allowed him to earn his bachelor's and doctorate degrees by the age of 24. While attending Michigan Dental School, Dr. Hu completed his study titled, "Searching for practical methods to monitor Streptococcus mutans levels," which earned him recognition and awards. After graduating, Dr. Hu continued his education at the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). He became the first full-time Alaskan dentist to be both a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a Dental Sleep Medicine Board certificate holder. He was also the first Triple Boarded Alaskan dentist with Diplomates from ACSDD, ASBA, and ABDSM.

Dr. Hu has published his work and many peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Dental Sleep Practice journal.
