Doctors Network

Pennsylvania holds a special place in the history of the United States. Both the Declaration of Independence and the Liberty Bell originated in Pennsylvania, as did groundbreaking inventions like the first computer and the Philly cheesesteak. Today, it is home to nearly 12.8 million Americans, almost half of whom are under the age of 18 or over the age of 65 who require especially good, consistent dental health care. With the help of Doctors Network, dentists across the Keystone State can help ensure that their patients can enjoy the benefits of excellent dental health and the significant cost-saving advantages of direct dental plans. Doctors Network is not an insurance company, and the cost of a direct dental plan is set by your dentist. Therefore, the plan can help patients reduce the costs of their dental care even if they already have insurance coverage.

With its historical relevance, Pennsylvania is a popular spot for tourists and history buffs alike. For the state’s residents, Pennsylvania’s history is felt more in a strong sense of community and the desire to help others. Doctors Network operates under the same spirit, partnering with dentists across the state to offer their patients a more affordable way to pay for high-quality dental care. Under a direct dental plan, patients in Pennsylvania can attend checkup and cleaning appointments for only $25 per visit, even if they already have insurance that covers their preventive care. When other treatments are necessary, such as tooth fillings, dental crowns, root canal therapy, dental implants, and more, patients under a direct dental plan receive discounts of up to 90%.

With a lower-than-usual rate of people who lack insurance (only 7.5%), Pennsylvania residents know the importance of maintaining good dental health. For those residents who don’t have coverage, as well as those who have plans that leave them with high out-of-pocket expenses, direct dental plans can make that goal significantly more affordable. To sign up for a direct dental plan, speak with your dentist about joining Doctors Network during your next visit. C K Galdieri definitely deserves 5 stars. The staff, starting from receptionists to hygienist, to doctors is extremely attentive. I happened upon them recently and was here in their Elmwood Park office for the second time today, their personal approach still blows me away. If you haven't been here - give them a try, you won't regret it! Thank you, Dr. Galdieri for taking care of me always!

I usually hate going to the dentist and had avoided it for a long time. But when I finally went I went to see Dr. Kucher because I heard he did awesome implants, which was something I thought I needed. He and his staff were very gentle. They went through everything with me and he gave me a pamphlet that explained everything. I decided to make an appointment because of how kind they all were when I just walked in. His top priority was making sure I was comfortable and that I was in zero pain. It went by really quickly and the implants look wonderful. I feel very confident in my smile now. I would recommend this place to anyone in Livingston, NJ.

What is tooth extraction?

a
ache-remover-696

Tooth extraction or tooth removal is classified into two main types: simple extractions and surgical extractions. Understanding the difference between these types can help you prepare for your procedure. 1. Simple Extraction: This method of tooth extraction is performed on a tooth that is fully erupted in the mouth and can be removed with dental forceps with relative ease. After administering a topical anesthetic and then local anesthetic (Novocaine) to numb the area, the dentist or oral surgeon loosens the tooth by luxating it with an instrument called a straight elevator and then removes it with surgical forceps. Simple dental extraction is typically performed without the need to cut the gum, which is called raising a gingival flap in technical terminology, which is the process of making an incision in the gum and then separating the entire thickness of the gum away from the underlying bone, thereby exposing the actual jaw bone under it. This is done usually for teeth that are carious, damaged, or need to be extracted for orthodontic reasons. 2. Surgical Extraction: Surgical tooth extractions are more complex and are considered for teeth that are not easily accessible, such as impacted wisdom teeth (3rd molars) or teeth that have very little clinical crown left of them. Root tips also need to be surgically exposed sometimes. This method involves making the aforementioned incision in the gum tissue to expose the tooth and the underlying bone. The tooth may be cut into smaller pieces for easy removal. Sometime it is even required to truph the bone surrounding the roots (alveolar bone). Truphing the bone is the process of cutting the alveolar bone around the tooth to loosen the roots further, usually done on roots that are significantly curved or ankylosed (adhered to the bone). Surgical dental extraction is usually performed under local anesthesia, but sedation options are also available usually for wisdom teeth removal or high anxiety patients. Surgical tooth extraction may be needed for impacted teeth that are deeply embedded in the jawbone.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
