I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

As kids, we lose our deciduous teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontitis is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have difficulties eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an experienced in-network dentist in New Haven, CT who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will connect you to an awesome dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can examine your smile to understand the factors behind your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, restoring smile function. For several gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with multiple dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the New Haven area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is chipped, you need dental care. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only tooth loss, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a restoration. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book an online appointment with a quality dentist or oral surgeon in New Haven, CT who can offer a effective tooth extraction as needed.

As we touched on above, severe cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by gum disease. Extracting a tooth could improve bite balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for orthodontic treatment! In many cases, this could prevent the negative impact of wisdom tooth eruption. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and smile beauty. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for dentures. Your New Haven dentist could use this to improve the function and health of your smile.

Now that you understand why and when a tooth may require removal, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can locate a dentist in the New Haven, CT area. But if you don’t have dental insurance, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could reduce the cost of care by up to 90%!

You probably have lots of friends who have had their wisdom tooth removed and are eager to divulge their experience to you. While this can be helpful, it is still necessary to consult with a dental professional. If you need your wisdom teeth removed, it is best to have a wide range of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from the procedure and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great dentist near you in New Haven, CT that accepts new patients.

The third molars or wisdom teeth are in the back of your mouth, and there are two on the top and two on the bottom. They typically appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth, their arrival can cause complications with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd directions, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your current teeth. When this occurs, they are more susceptible to bacteria and infections. If any of these situations happen, it can be very uncomfortable and can damage your existing teeth. If you think you might have complications with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a New Haven oral surgeon hastily.

If you do need wisdom teeth extraction, your oral healthcare professional will determine how they will go about the extraction to make certain everything goes smoothly. They will decide which of your wisdom teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also assess the appropriate type of sedation and the position of your existing teeth. Once they ascertain these facts, they can extract your wisdom teeth more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia, so you will not feel any pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and pay attention to your needs the entire time to make sure you are ok. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will receive information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many New Haven dentists that accept new patients and can effectively pull your wisdom teeth.

It is important for your little ones to visit a dental professional twice a year for checkups and cleanings. By teaching kids preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dental office in New Haven who takes new patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your kids with sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their back molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of cavities by up to 80 percent. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps bolster your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, please schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in New Haven.

Many people would be ecstatic to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any drug store, you see numerous products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional teeth whitening can actually provide a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in New Haven, CT that takes patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find one that offers professional whitening.

When you visit your New Haven dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home option. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to get an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe whitening solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for approximately 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to book an appointment with a New Haven dentist that takes patients with no dental coverage, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last went to a dentist, you probably should schedule a checkup soon. When you go in for regular checkups, your dentist can closely examine your teeth to make sure nothing is awry. This helps prevent decay from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more costly procedures down the road. If you need to schedule an online appointment with a dentist in New Haven, CT that accepts individuals without dental insurance we can help you find a great office.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove tartar and plaque that is difficult to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental prophylaxis will leave your teeth feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your New Haven dentist will begin his examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential issues. If they find anything amiss, they can suggest the proper treatment. The New Haven dentist we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental conditions. When you visit the dentist consistently they can monitor the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that accepts individuals without dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.
