Have you experienced a popping sensation in your jaw? Do you have aching jaw and facial pain? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from TMJ disorder or bruxism. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dental office in Auburn, AL who accepts patients with no insurance.

While very different from one another, one often increases the risk of the other. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems opening and closing the mouth fully. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, and neck. Bruxism means you often grind your teeth or clench your jaw. The stress caused by grinding could cause headaches and jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also damage teeth. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that strain the jaw joints, and untreated TMJ disorder could mean eventual teeth grinding, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Auburn who accepts patients with no insurance.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating malocclusion with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral appliance, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Auburn dentist. then contact our team!

Carious lesions are common oral health issues, and without attention could lead to tender infections or even the increased risk of missing teeth. When you have toothache that lingers for a while, then you likely have a cavity that needs restoration. If you have tooth pain, and you need to find a dental professional near you who takes patients with no insurance, search for dental offices in Auburn on Doctors Network.

Tooth Decays form when the outer layer of tooth enamel is weakened. The erosion of the tooth enamel often occurs due to lack of good oral hygiene habits, such as not brushing and flossing regularly. A diet high in starchy foods is another common factor. Once tooth decay forms, it will grow unless treated, and lack of treatment could actually mean worsening pain and an infected tooth. Common warning signs include aching teeth. When you experience pain in a tooth, don’t procrastinate. Our network can help connect you with a dentist in Auburn for caries risk assessment.

Treating a case of tooth decay often means placing a filling. First, the dentist will remove the decay from the tooth. Next, metal or composite resin material is added to the tooth. The dentist then molds the material as it cures. The entire process only takes one visit. A filling helps stop discomfort and protects the smile from complications like an abscess. If you need to find out the tooth filling cost with no insurance in Auburn, AL, then talk to Doctors Network. You can even sign up for a dental plan and schedule an online appointment. We can help you find the right dentist for your oral healthcare!

It is essential for children to visit a pediatric dentist twice a year for checkups and cleanings. By teaching kids how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for many years. If you are looking for a dentist in Auburn who takes uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with dental sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their molars and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80 percent. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your pediatric dental professionals provide. Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps fortify your child’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to cavities. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. For more information, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Auburn.

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
