Your smile deserves just as much care as the Granite State’s covered bridges. Avoiding regular dental check-ups and ignoring tooth pain definitely saves you time now, but it could leave you with a dental disaster down the line. Still, oral health can be hard to predict; the only way to be sure that you’re cavity-free is to see the dentist.

New Hampshire hosts dozens of state and agricultural fairs throughout the year, meaning Granite Staters have plenty of opportunities to play games, go on rides, and, of course, eat classic sweet treats. Candy apples, maple cotton candy, and even saucy barbecued ribs can lead to plaque buildup and painful cavities. Next time you head down to the fair, try swapping sugary snacks for crunchy apples. Not only is it easy to find locally grown apples, but apples actually clean your teeth as you eat them—and let's not forget that they taste amazing too. A little extra care goes a long way to keep your smile bright.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
