Dr. Joseph Trowbridge’s top priority is providing his patients with the best treatments dentistry has to offer. When he is not working with patients at the office, he is attending continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, has accreditation with the state board for conscious sedation, and has completed an Advanced Prosthetic Reconstruction program at the Dawson Academy.

Dr. Trowbridge earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota in Duluth. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at U of M’s dental school. He enjoyed his career in biology and biochemistry but felt that something was missing. He wanted to work with people and discovered that dentistry was the perfect fit for him. Since graduating, Dr. Trowbridge has been the recipient of the GILL award for excellence in prosthodontics.

Dr. Lorie Hodd believes that being a dentist also means being a lifelong learner. She completed her BS degree and DDS degree with honors in 1987 from the University of Minnesota. She then completed extensive postgraduate training at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, where she specialized in TMJ treatment modalities and Comprehensive Full Mouth Reconstruction. She became a practicing dentist soon after but never stopped learning. When she is not in the office, Dr. Hodd is completing a continuing education course, ensuring that she stays at the forefront of modern dental technologies and treatments. She is also an active member of the Minneapolis District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Brian T. Evensen has been a co-owner of Valley Dental Group with Drs. Hoover, Anderson, and Norsted since September 1996. When he is not working with patients, Dr. Evensen can be found giving part-time instruction to dental students at his alma mater, the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is also a member of the Minneapolis District Dental Society, the Northside Dental Society, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Evensen earned his bachelor’s degree at St. Olaf College before attending the U of M School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS degree in 1989 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. He specializes in general dentistry with an emphasis on restorative, cosmetic, and preventative treatments.
