A beach day isn’t complete without the proper protective gear; think sunhat, sunglasses, umbrella, and sunscreen. Just like you wouldn’t go to the beach without the right equipment, don’t maintain your oral health without the best, dentist-approved tools. Use highly-rated fluoride toothpaste to help protect your teeth from your Florida diet—the sweet and sour goodness of a Key lime pie can lead to cavities without proper oral care. When it comes to toothbrushes, use a new one every 3-4 months, and always look for brushes with the American Dental Association (ADA) seal of approval. Lastly, look for a floss that won’t shed or fray between your teeth. If you lather up on sunscreen before every beach day, then you know the importance of routines. The final, and most important step to a good oral care routine is scheduling regular appointments with your dentist. A beautiful smile is just a call away.

What are dental veneers?

t
tenderness-screener-870

Veneers are thin, custom-made porcelain shells. They are bonded to the front (buccal) surface of teeth to improve their appearance. These dental restorations are usually made from either porcelain or composite resin. They are tailored to match the natural color and shape of your teeth. This popular cosmetic procedure can correct many imperfections, including chipped, cracked, stained, short, or misaligned teeth. One of the benefits of getting veneers is the transformation it can have on your smile. If you have stained teeth that do not respond well to teeth whitening treatments, veneers can provide a lasting solution by covering the stains and defects and giving you a whiter, more youthful smile. Veneers can improve the look of one's teeth. With minor misalignment, they are eliminating the necessity of extensive orthodontic treatment. Another key advantage of veneers is their ability to repair defective, chipped or cracked teeth. The dentist can restore the tooth's shape and strength by placing a veneer over the surface of the damaged tooth while achieving a seamless blend with the surrounding Veneers. This can help enhance the looks of your teeth. It can even help close small gaps between them, providing a more uniform smile. Additionally, veneers are very durable and resistant to staining, letting you to enjoy a beautiful smile without worrying about coffee or wine stains. Taking care of your teeth is essential and can be achieved via regular dental check-ups and persistently good oral hygiene habits. Veneers are no exception, but with proper dental care, they can maintain their natural appearance and functionality for a very long time. If you are considering getting veneers in Brooklyn, NY, finding a skilled and experienced dentist near you is of paramount. Find a dentist specializing in cosmetic dentistry with a good track record of successful veneer placement. Reading online patient reviews and testimonials can provide wonderful insights into the quality of dental care and outcomes you can expect. When you consult with a dentist in NYC or Brooklyn, they will evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals and expectations, and work with you to create a veneer plan that is personalized to you. If you are a good candidate for dental porcelain veneers, the dentist will prepare (gently cut) your teeth by removing a small layer of surface enamel to ensure a proper shape for the veneers. Then, they will take 3D digital scans or impressions of your teeth to create custom veneers that suit your unique smile. Once the veneers are fabricated, the dentist will bond them to the enamel of your teeth, making any necessary optimizations for ideal fit and appearance. In summary, dental veneers are a versatile cosmetic dental solution for enhancing your smile. Whether you have short, stained, chipped, or misaligned teeth, veneers can offer a long-lasting and natural-looking solution. By selecting a skilled cosmetic dentist, you can achieve the smile you've always desired. Start your journey toward a confident smile by booking your first consultation.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
