Dr. Brett Whitaker, a native of Tuscaloosa, chose dentistry as his career after recognizing the significant impact oral health can have on a person’s self-esteem and well-being. Outside of work, Dr. Tickle enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially outdoors. They take annual beach vacations and cherish moments spent together. He’s also a fan of fishing and enjoys college basketball and football when he can.

Dr. Chelsea Maniscalco is a dentist who works every day to improve the oral health of the Birmingham community. As a recipient of the National Health Service Corps scholarship, Dr. Maniscalco spent the first year as a practicing dentist traveling around Alabama, offering her services to those in rural areas who could not afford or receive dental care otherwise. Since then, she has opened her own private practice.

Dr. Maniscalco completed her undergraduate education at Wofford College, then went to UAB School of Dentistry where she earned her DMD. Since then, she has become a member of the Crown Council, the Alabama Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
