From a young age, Dr. Ryan Loveless felt drawn to dentistry, having spent his childhood in his father’s dental office.He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and later attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for dental school. Dr. Loveless has a genuine passion for his work, enjoying the opportunity to treat both children and adults. His aim is to ensure that every dental visit is a pleasant dental experience. Committed to staying abreast of the latest technology and techniques, he dedicates significant time to continuing education. Over the years, he has also participated in several dental-based mission trips known as Texas Mission of Mercy, serving his fellow Texans.

Dr. Loveless and his wife, Lauren, are the proud parents of four wonderful boys: Michael, Miles, Andrew, and Mason. He often humorously remarks that at the end of the day, he is heading home to his “real job.”

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loveless is an enthusiastic golfer who enjoys tackling the challenging courses around Austin. However, his true passion lies in fishing. Dr. Behmanesh was raised in Canada, where she achieved an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology and French. She then moved to New York University to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following her time at NYU, she joined UCLA for a residency in advanced dentistry. In 2010, she fell in love with Austin during a visit and decided to make it her home.

In her free time, Dr. Behmanesh enjoys jogging along the Lady Bird Trail, spending quality moments with her family, traveling, and practicing photography.

She is dedicated to ongoing education, taking numerous advanced courses each year to enhance her skills and better meet her patients' dental care needs while ensuring a soothing and pleasant experience. After serving as the associate dentist at South Austin Family Dental for nearly twelve years, Dr. Shelby Knight took the next step in his career by purchasing the practice in January 2020. As an associate, he had the opportunity to build strong, lasting connections with his patients, and he truly appreciates the trust they invest in his skills and decisions.

Dr. Knight earned his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown and completed his dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 2008. Residing in South Austin, he enjoys listening to live music, collecting vinyl records, woodworking, and traveling. He is particularly excited to be working alongside his sister, Dr. Miranda Torrey.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before earning her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she met her husband, Dr. Bonner Morren. With a degree in nutritional sciences, she integrates an understanding of the connection between oral health and overall wellness into her comprehensive treatment plans. Building meaningful relationships with her patients is a highlight of her practice, and she excels at reassuring anxious individuals, aiming to make dental visits enjoyable rather than dreaded.
