dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth is often due to injury. The advanced stage of gum disease leads to major tooth loss. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems speaking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need an excellent private dentist in Anderson, MO who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be placed, providing lifelike results. For multiple missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your alveolar bone and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Anderson‘s proximity and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if many years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from a sleep disorder, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can provide a noninvasive and comfortable solution to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and cause you to stop breathing. People actually stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain wakes them. Even if you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you talk to Doctors Network and find Anderson, MO dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Warning signs could include chronic snoring. Daytime drowsiness, headaches, and even trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. With no intervention, the condition could even strain your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar signs, consider finding out your treatment options. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are celebrating our dental practices near Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or a tooth that is misshapen or stained, then you might need a cosmetic consultation. With tooth reshaping and tooth-color fillings in Anderson, MO, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a restorative dentist in Anderson, MO who accepts new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may be surprised to discover just how much bonding and contouring can correct in only one visit.

Tooth-colored bonding repairs cosmetic concerns with composite resin materials. The composite resin, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Anderson dentists also use this material for fillings. With contouring, the dentist simply buffs and sands the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn dental experts. With these two procedures, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask stains on teeth, and close embarrassing spaces between teeth.

Periodontal disease is very widespread. In fact, studies from the Centers for Disease Control reveal that half of adults over the age of thirty require treatment for periodontal concerns. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Known as periodontitis, this is actually the most common cause of missing teeth. All that to say, when you develop the symptoms of the disease, you need to see a professional right away. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to consult a Anderson dentist.

Doctors Network can facilitate finding dentists in Anderson MO that accept new patients and can offer a diagnosis after a dental examination. If there is a presence of gingivitis or gum disease, then a treatment plan can be created. For the early stages, a scaling and root planing followed by traditional cleanings every three or four months could prevent symptoms. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like laser dentistry, pocket reduction, gum grafts, and more to protect your gums!

Nothing feels better than showing off a perfect smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Anderson, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Anderson dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts walk-in patients. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to reduce the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying factors may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Missouri is the birthplace of America’s 33rd president, Harry Truman, and home to the nation’s largest beer brewery, Anheuser-Busch. Yet, it is perhaps more well-known for the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904, which reportedly introduced most of the American foods we know and love today, including hot dogs, ice cream cones, Dr. Pepper, and much more. Today, the Show Me State is home to nearly 6.1 million residents, all of whom deserve to enjoy the benefits of exceptional dental care without having to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs. To help them all receive that care, Doctors Network has partnered with dentists across the state to offer patients direct dental plans directly through their dentists’ offices.

Missouri is one of the nation’s friendliest places to raise a family, and boasts a relatively low cost of living coupled with a strong economy. However, dental health care costs can be a burden to families of all backgrounds and demographics, even when they have dental insurance coverage. The goal of Doctors Network is to help dentists across Missouri offer high-quality care directly to their patients, without the exorbitant extra costs that third-party insurance companies often tack on to their plans. With a direct dental plan, you only pay a small monthly fee, which your dentist will determine, to gain access to substantial savings on your dental health care. For instance, checkup and cleaning appointments only cost $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as teeth-whitening, dental fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more will be significantly discounted—often by up to 90%!
