Dr. Jeremy Unger has been a practicing dentist since 2009, providing his patients with top-quality care and high-tech procedures. Although he is interested in all areas of dentistry, his biggest passion is dental technology. He makes sure to incorporate the latest dental tech into his practice, allowing him to offer same-day in-office crowns, 3D imaging, dental implants, laser cavity detention and therapy, and intra-oral digital cameras. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Unger is educating other dentists on ways they can improve their practices with dental tech and provide better care to their own patients.

Dr. Unger earned his aviation engineering management bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and then went on to join the United States Marine Corps. His goal was to become a commissioned officer, but he soon discovered that dentistry was his true calling. After serving on land and sea and learning irreplaceable critical thinking and leadership skills, he returned to Ohio State University to earn his dental degree. He graduated in 2009 and has been practicing dentistry ever since.

This place is awesome. I hate going to the dentist and needles being in my mouth. Dr. Pham kindly explained everything to me, including the level of sedation and what they meant. He could tell I was nervous, but I felt so comfortable that I only needed gas for my cleaning. I’m going to be coming back for fillings in a week, and I’m not nervous at all. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 35 years, but Dr. Pham and his staff made me feel very comfortable. Everyone in Hurst who hates the dentist should give this place a try.

I told my friend to see Dr. Yeo at Fresh Smiles Dental Care in Dallas, TX to get her wisdom teeth extracted, and she was thrilled. He actually speaks English, Spanish, and Korean, so if you know Spanish or Korean but not English, you can still get the dental work you deserve!

I just recently started going to Dr. Drakeford. After my first appointment where she listened to my questions and concerns, she scheduled an appointment 3 days afterward for my crown prep and a temporary partial. I was worried about losing a tooth anchor for a filed 5 tooth bridge and not having a partial to make it look more natural until the treatment was complete. Dr. Drakeford took my concerns away and made me feel calm and comfortable. She had a new assistant who actually came in on her day off to help her with me. Friday was supposed to be her day off too, but she still came in and saw me. I left feeling very satisfied, and they were both very nice. The front desk staff was kind and caring. The office is very big and has the latest technology. They offer more operations than any other dentist in Dallas. The office is beautiful, and so is the art they hang up on the walls. I recommend this place, and I feel very lucky to have found them.

Dr. Nannapaneni is the greatest doctor in Garland, Texas area. I’ve had a lot of dental work done in the past, and oral surgery too. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Nannapaneni. He treats his patients like real people rather than just a mouth in the chair, and he takes his time with each appointment. Don’t schedule an appointment when you have a lot to do that day. He would never try to upsell procedures to you, he’s very honest, and this honesty has saved me money. He explains why he’s doing what he’s doing. The first time I came here I was immediately won over because of the comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Nannapaneni is friendly and easy to talk to. He’s really great.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our baby teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Gum disease is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even your facial structure. You need an experienced in-network dentist in Bluebonnet Place, TX who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a skilled dentist near you. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be prescribed. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with tooth implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your jaw and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Bluebonnet Place‘s neighborhoods and have lost your natural teeth, let us know. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a poor sleeping pattern, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a comfortable and noninvasive option to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft palate and the tissues around the throat collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing briefly until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even as you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when is it time to talk to Doctors Network and find Bluebonnet Place, TX dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Sings of sleep apnea could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime drowsiness, and trouble with interpersonal relationships could be factors too. With no intervention, the condition could impact your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are celebrating our dental practices in Manhattan, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or a tooth that is stained, then you need a cosmetic consultation. With contouring and tooth-color bonding in Bluebonnet Place, TX, these aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a general dentist in Bluebonnet Place, TX who accepts new patients and can tackle your oral health concerns. You may not believe just how much these two treatments can do in a single sitting.

Tooth bonding repairs aesthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Bluebonnet Place general dentists also use this material for fillings. During tooth contouring, the dentist actually sands and polishes the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct issues with a tooth’s balance and shape.

This week we are celebrating our Brooklyn local dentists. With both procedures, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask unattractive teeth stains, and close embarrassing spaces between the teeth.

Periodontal disease is a common oral health issue. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal that about 50% of adults over 30 have gum disease. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually one of the most common causes of adult tooth loss. All that to say, when you develop discomfort in the gums, you need to see a professional as soon as you can. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to see a Bluebonnet Place dental office.

Doctor Network’s search engine can facilitate finding dentists in Bluebonnet Place TX that accept new patients and can offer a treatment plan after a dental examination. If there is a presence of periodontal concerns, then a treatment can be planned. For less severe cases, a deep cleaning followed by traditional cleanings every three to four months could help you avoid tooth loss. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like pocket reduction surgery, laser dentistry, and more to protect your gums!

As children, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from grinding and clenching your teeth could injure your teeth. Cracks, chips, and worn-down structures could change your appearance. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even infected teeth, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an online appointment with a dental professional in Bluebonnet Place.

Your partner or spouse may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include toothaches and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the oral health issues behind your bruxism. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable oral appliances. So don’t ignore the possible warning signs, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts new patients.

You can’t put a price on a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to tackle your tooth loss with dental implants? If you are wondering how much dental implants cost near you in Bluebonnet Place, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Bluebonnet Place dentist who can offer surgical placement of dental implants. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes walk-in patients. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural dentition!

From 1836 to 1845, Texas was its own independent nation, and it is the only state to have joined the U.S. through treaty rather than territorial annexation. Today, it is home to nearly 28 million people, making it the second most populous state (next to California) as well as the second largest (next to Alaska). Known as the Lone Star State, Texas’ independence and spirit has persevered throughout its history, and today’s Texans continue to do things their way. When it comes to dental health care, that means offering families across the state highly affordable alternatives to dental insurance through direct plans. Provided by your dentist in partnership with Doctors Network, a direct dental plan guarantees significant savings on all treatments that your dentist and oral health specialists provide, and it works whether or not you already have insurance coverage.
