I truly love the staff at Schambeau Dental Care in Bessemer, AL. Everyone is so nice, and the dentist is super friendly. I went to this office a few years ago, but because I was pregnant at the time, they couldn’t treat me right away. So they told me to come back after I had the baby, but it completely slipped my mind. Well, I went today, and the hygienist did my cleaning and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Schambeau was as nice as always and took me through my treatment plan. Lastly, the receptionist showed me the bill and offered multiple payment options. Since I’m about to buy a home, I need to be careful with spending, but they were very accommodating to my needs. I don’t like to go to the dentist, but when I do need to go, Schambeau Dental Care is the only place I go! I love it there!

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontitis leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems speaking could occur. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need a permanent in-network dentist in Echo Highlands, AL who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to an awesome dentist near you. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For multiple gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be supported with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants act as natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Echo Highlands area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. The smile of your dreams is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a non-invasive option to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. Patients actually stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain wakes them. Even as you believe you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it time to talk to Doctors Network and find Echo Highlands, AL dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Symptoms of OSA could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime drowsiness, headaches, and moodiness could be factors too. Without treatment, the condition could even strain your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar signs, consider finding out your treatment options. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are celebrating our dentists near NYC.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you might need a cosmetic consultation. With contouring and tooth-color fillings in Echo Highlands, AL, these cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a dental professional in Echo Highlands, AL who takes new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may not be aware just how much tooth-colored bondings can correct in only one visit.

Tooth-colored filling repairs aesthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The material, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Echo Highlands general dentists also use this material for fillings. With contouring, the dentist simply sands and buffs the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn dental professionals. With both treatments, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask teeth stains, and close gaps between teeth.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near Echo Highlands, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Echo Highlands dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to reduce the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural ones!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
